Smoke Free NOW is a coalition of agencies, organizations, and businesses that provide service in Genesee, Orleans, and Wyoming counties. Only Agencies, Organizations, and Businesses may join as Voting Members. Individuals may join as Advocate Members.

Who may join the coalition? Many members are youth or health agencies and school personnel, but any business or organization that wishes to reduce tobacco use may join.

What are the obligations of membership? County committees usually meet monthly. Members should attempt to have a regular staff person or volunteer attend most of the meetings. When possible, member representatives help staff booths at fairs, make presentations on behalf of the coalition, help plan events, attend public meetings, and share resources with the coalition. There is no mandatory requirement of time or resource commitment.

What are the benefits of membership? Members are able to coordinate their tobacco prevention and control activities and maximize the use of staff and volunteer, financial, and material resources.
